Document your lore, from the tiniest flower to the tallest mountain, from small cozy towns to vast alien countries, from magic systems to technology fields.

Some lore might change from story to story. We’ve got that covered, too. Split and unite answers as needed!

Quickly locate the articles you need by text search, tag filtering, and by type. It’s always easy to see what you’ve created and what you’ve yet to create.

What happened first and what came after? Use timeline events to keep track, down to a resolution of year, month, day, and even hour and minute on those super busy days.

Search your events by title text, or filter by event type and tags. Look up everyone’s birth date. See how often your armies go to war. 

Select a color for each event from a gorgeous color palette. Let your imagination run colorful! Quickly recognize events by their colors, among other key features.

Give your images titles and tags in order to filter through them quickly. Add unlimited descriptions to highlight what you want to capture with each image you add.

You can attach an image (and any other item) to any of these items: Characters, World Components, Timeline Events, Scene Locations, Ideas, Stories, and other Vision Board Images.

When you connect an image to any other item, it will be displayed in that item’s card and Quick View as part of a gallery. See all related images with ease!

Keep your locations consistent and brainstorm ideas for interesting objects and people that might be there. They’ll help you when you sit down to plan the scene card.

Connect your Scene Locations with actual Scene Cards to track what happens where. Coming soon: open a Scene Location to see all the scenes that happen there.

Display scene locations in your Storyboard overview to make sure your story is going interesting places and to spare yourself embarrassing continuity errors.

Remember that cool idea for the third scene in act two? Write it in the Ideas section, because until you hit act two, you’ll forget all about it, and it would be a crying shame.

Connect your idea to any other Item to quickly view it from there. Record ideas about characters, locations, events, world components, and more. Connected assets are easily viewed together.

Each story consists of a plot, optional subplots, an unlimited number of acts (we recommend 4), and scene cards. They come together in the Storyboard to give you a birds-eye view of the story.

What if you want to change the name of a character or town halfway through the story? No worries. With the Mentions module, you can invoke other items and keep their names synchronized everywhere. Just type “@” and start typing the current name.

Does your hero wear their auburn hair short in Book 1 and long and magenta in Book 2? No problem. Split answers between stories as necessary, or answer for all stories as one. Minimum effort, maximum flexibility.
